Been doing that all year. Edge pressure is a staple of the 50 defense. Speed on the edge, man outside. Our kids have never been good playing a zone coverage. Especially having to stay in coverage for 5-10 seconds because the QB is standing back there on his spot. What they can do is stay in man coverage for 4-5 seconds while the front 5 get after the QB. We have the athletes. It boggles my mind why we continue to do that. 

At least I didn’t give myself an insurmountable deficit to overcome for the playoff pickems like I did in the regular season
