Is Iowa still a really small school in SW LA? This seems like an odd matchup.

They have about the same amount of kids enrolled, Iowa 1096 vs LCM 1014. This is per Google so I’m not sure how accurate it is. They are 4A and Louisiana goes up to 7A now from what I heard last night.

I did look into this last week. I think the Iowa enrollment is for grades 6-12 where LCM’s is just 9-12. So if you do the math it’s roughly 150 kids per grade at Iowa compared to 250 per grade at LCM. 

Now I could be totally wrong but a Google search showed me the 6-12 number for Iowa to be around the 1100 number you referenced above.

Iowa HS had 649 9-12th Graders so a 365~ less students.
