Who is the team you are most impressed with this fall. Also as we are not far from district play what teams with less than stellar records will make noise.

Most impressed: Atascocita

Big wins over Houston Lamar, Katy and Austin Westlake. No team in the state has that good of a resume so far this season.

 

Newton at 1-2 will definitely make noise.

Atascocita definitely. Summer creek not giving up a point thru 3 weeks is impressive

I beleive it was said that Atascocita is only team to beat both Westlake and Katy in back to back weeks.

Atascocita without a doubt, Id throw NS in their as well.  Though there schedule hasn't been the same I think they are of the same caliber. If were talking statewide then North Crowley, I also agree with Austin 85 with the Galveston Ball pick. On a Golden Triangle level Id say Bridge City has been impressive. Though their schedule hasn't been the toughest they have looked like a good football team for the first time in a while. They have scored 133 points but the most surprising is they have only allowed 13 points. Another team that has surprised me so far this season has been Shelbyville.

I agree with all of the above, and would also say that Montgomery may be one to watch.
