Soulja, I disagree with you a little bit.  #1 should be getting all of the carries (at least 15) out of the backfield, nobody else.  It's not even close.  That kid is explosive and runs with aggression.  QB has to trust that #5 can beat anyone in single coverage and I think he can.  Get him the ball.

#5 is supposed to be our most dynamic player and the last 3 weeks, he’s dropping open passes.  That’s what I don’t get.

I imagine the coaching staffs of the prior teams that Jasper has faced this season struggled with defending #0.

Jasper QB is pretty good. Can make plays with his legs when needed. #0 is obviously his favorite target.

I think United can score on Jasper. Jasper defense not as stout as last few seasons. It will all be about what United can do defensively to be able to win this one.

IMO, United offense will not be the reason why they lose this game.

I see this as a 30-20 win for Jasper.

I think he only had 2/3 catches and those were early in the 1st.  He was very effective in the run blocking for Jasper.  I do think we were so focused on him that it opened up more opportunities for their other players.  If Jasper's QB was more accurate with the deep ball to his other receivers, they probably would have pulled away with this game easily...

Looks like the Timberwolf defense won this game.

You are correct in that the Jasper QB is not too accurate on the deep ball. Arm strength is not that great.

I also thought United's offense would do better. I was wrong on that account.

Although they did look the part with the all Maroon unies on (me with a prideful smile), they were indeed the Timberwolves of BU…
