Harris' tax plan, which contains a variety of tax increases, cuts and credits, is based largely on President Biden's budget – though the vice president has offered her own policy ideas since becoming the Democratic presidential nominee. Overall, the Tax Foundation analysis finds a loss of 786,000 full-time equivalent jobs over the long run under Harris' plan when compared to baseline projections, as well as 2% decline in long-run GDP and a 1.2% dip in long-run wages, while bringing in nearly $1.7 trillion in additional tax revenue over the next decade. "Similar to the president's proposals, we find that it would reduce the long-term growth of the economy, it would reduce American incomes relative to where they would otherwise be, and it would lose, rounding up, close to 800,000 jobs in the long-run," Garrett Watson, senior policy analyst and modeling manager at the Tax Foundation, told FOX Business in an interview. 5GallonBucket Posted September 20 Report Posted September 20 What was the 1st thing biden did when he got into office concerning jobs Quote
HuntersLaptop2028 Posted September 20 Report Posted September 20 >> as well as 2% decline in long-run GDP Use your brain guys, this ain’t happening. You said it during 8 years of Obama.. you said it under 4 years of Biden, and now you’re saying it’ll happen under Kamala. Quote
Reagan Posted September 30 Report Posted September 30 Not a clue. This is a person who has never ran a business in her life! Quote

I get sick of her eye contact/head nod like we already know what she is talking about. Another puppet for the deep state…..who cares about no one. Quote

What about over 200 economists who say Trump’s economic plan. i.e. tarrifs will spike inflation and send the economy crashing into recession in a year? A lie, no doubt, because it doesn’t fit the narrative. Quote
baddog Posted October 1 Report Posted October 1 Who the heck defends Harris? Communists is all I can come up with. Quote

Why don't you address the subject of the thread, but I'm not wasting much time on someone that won't deal with facts and simply bashes the source or calls a valid post political wrangling. Answer a question for a change and try to leave Trump out of it. Quote

Answer a question for a change and try to leave Trump out of it. Says the man who bashes every source I use. I bring Trump up because his economic plan is Disaster Deux. That puff piece says nothing about labor demand or even mentions a recession. Policy doesn’t drive demand. Plenty of economists believe extension of the child tax credit will be good for the economy. The other stuff will not overcome demand. Quote

But once again, a paragraph of your opinion with nothing to back it up. Once again, try to tell us what you think of Harris' plan and why she deserves your vote. Quote
