Bridge city at Lumberton

like I said the other day about Lumberton their record doesn't reflect the fight they have in them. I personally have not seen BC play this year.   they may be much improved but it's hard to say being an outsider who only knows they have all lower classification  competition so far.

Probably be a real good game.

Lumberton may be able to contain BC's QB somewhat better than OF did, and typically Lumberton seems to have hometown refs, and it's tough to have a good game against them at home.  But I still can't get it out of my head, them quitting and walking off of the field against HF.  I'm going with BC for the win.

They did not quit and walk off the field. Jv/fresh was an hour and a half and so was varsity

To be accurate, it was agreed before the scrimmage began that varsity would play two live quarters. After the first live quarter ended, Lumberton ended the scrimmage. HF coaches were very confused and a little upset. Wanted to get more work in and get backups in to play.

Quit might be the wrong word to use, but Lumberton did decide to leave the field while HF was getting ready for another quarter.

Yeah, I readily confess that I should have qualified my statement, and put it in quotes, like "per my neighbor", or something similar. My neighbor has two kids attending HF, and he was at the scrimmage, so really I'm just quoting him.

Anyway, it'll be a close game, I'm thinking.
