would love to hear the reasoning behind voting "nay" on this one. I thought maybe the republicans had a attached a bunch of crap to the bill, as both sides often do (see the fake border bill the left blames the right for tanking), but it doesn't seem to be the case.
From the article:
The Pact covers a broad range of issues including peace and security, sustainable development, climate change, digital cooperation, human rights, gender, youth and future generations, and the transformation of global governance.
Scary list, and what's comical is the UN wants to lead the world on human rights, while allowing thuggish countries to chair committees, what a joke.
LAKE CREEK
Lettermen R/L: 25/22
Starters O/D: 7/5
2023: 12-1 region semifinalist/6-0 district.
2024 Key Players
RB Tyvon Byars (5-9, 210, 4.6)
QB Eli Morcos (6-2, 205, 4.6)
DB Tyraun Pier (5-11, 170, 4.5)
OL Hunter McKinney (6-5, 285)
LB Davis Lee (5-10, 190, 4.6)
2024 notes: The Lions are an impressive 24-2 the past two seasons and last year was especially heartbreaking as LCHS fell by three in the regional semifinals to eventual state champions Port Neches-Groves. RB Byars (1,450 yards, 31 TDs rushing) has put up monster numbers the past two seasons and is primed for an encore campaign as a senior. QB Morcos tossed 11 touchdowns a year ago and is back after starting all 13 games for the Lions in 2023. Lake Creek’s defense is led by LB Lee (140 tackles), who is undersized but has great speed and covers a ton of ground. DB Pier has elite speed and coverage ability in the secondary. Kennedy says experience on the offensive line and having two key offensive leaders returning will be vital in 2023.
