Can you give examples of what you mean by this? I’m curious what were they doing exactly.

Perhaps I shouldn't have said that, but keep in mind that I was watching the game live.  The one incident that I was referring to was their running back's stiff arm to the face, which actually appeared to be fingers into the eyes, of a would be tackler.  I happened to be sitting in Gen Adm., right at the goal line, about 4 or 5 rows up, and thought I saw it pretty well.

Also I was probably too hard on the refs last night. Refs by and large, for the past 3 seasons, just don't seem to call holding very often.  They did throw a couple of flags for hits out of bounds. And the pile ups at the goal line, with the QB at the bottom of the pile, I guess a TD can be tough to call. By the time they dig down to the bottom of the pile, anything can happen.

I'm hoarse this morning from yelling. Heck of a game. My grandson and his girlfriend went to the concession stand with the score tied 14-14, and by the time they returned, the score was 35-35.

Is Faircloth back at PN-g?

Ha!  Don't bring that up on the PNG forum, you'll have those folks all over you!  But, it sure seemed like it last night.  Two high powered offenses for sure.  Defense made some stops, but really stepped up at the end.

QB- 14-22 for 246-   14 carries for 146 yards

RB- 14 for 119

NO DOUBT we have some work to do on defense but keeping things in perspective…LC probably has the best QB, RB, and O-Line in Region 2!  They were IMPRESSIVE!’  So if you take away the 21 points we pretty much handed them in the first half off our mistakes…the score probably wouldn’t have been that close because we came out and held them to 2 scores in the 2nd half!
I’m also betting their Coach might have a different opinion of the “environment” at The Reservation now…lol!

I think our O-line is better than LCs. I had to remind myself in all my “what is going on with the defense” panic : Our o-line played at a crazy high level last night. It’s crazy how they simply deleted the d-line and LBs from the game.

If that is correct, Henry’s rushing yardage ranks fifth at PNG for a single game

365 Koby Trahan - Kingwood Park, 2021

347 Jeff Bergeron - Nederland, 1971

307 Caleb Harmon - LCM, 2009

301 Roschon Johnson - Crosby, 2017

298 Tyson Henry - Lake Creek, 2024
