OlDawg Posted October 4 Report Posted October 4 Looks like LPSportsnet YouTube channel will be broadcasting the game. Not sure how it will be from Abshier. Hopefully, they’ll be able to get replays, camera angles, etc. still. But, free alternative to Texan Live at the least. Go Dawgs! Quote

OlDawg Posted October 5 Report Posted October 5 Coach has LP players doing burpees on the field in between ball spots after penalties. LOL Quote
OlDawg Posted October 5 Report Posted October 5 !!score:0/28/H First fairly clean half of ball for LP this year. Said they could play with almost anyone in 5A if they play clean. Not sure KWP has 50 yards. You've alerted the ScoreboardBot:Score Alert: Kingwood Park(0) @ La Porte(28) Halftime ScoreboardBot 1 Quote

OlDawg Posted October 5 Report Posted October 5 I think many of the regular starters were back for this game. Announcers said 7 were out for PNG & 5 out last week. If they can keep playing clean like this, they’ll be where folks thought they would be at the start of the year. Quote

gary-us-bonds Posted October 5 Report Posted October 5 Man where is LP finding these running backs. They have an outstanding junior that barely gets the ball any and now this freshman is probably the top freshman running back in the state after watching his highlights. He's a monster OlDawg 1 Quote

He's a monster He’s a good sized kid for a fish. Bigger than the other 3 already, and doesn’t go down at first contact. Not sure of his YAC. But, must be the majority of his yards. They looked good tonight & LP has always produced RB/LB combo type and size players. Just the size kids around here with a few big boys for the OL. Quote

Quentin Castille, Hosa Scott, Montrel Lowe, Curvin Richards(though he was from Baytown), Bubba Hill, Barrion Walker. This Freshman is different than the Perkins and Castille types though. He doesn't just bulldoze in there. He moves like a real running back. Quote

LP has an excellent RB coach back again in Whitely. Don’t forget Keith Jr. He was very similar to Barnes. I was kinda hard on Saenz (QB) earlier in the year. But, he’s coming along nicely. It’s also a relief to have the D players back. LP has good depth now. Berneathy has gotten buy in again, and he’s been opening the playbook up more. Been calling for them to use big #88 forever. Finally, tonight for the first TD. Any D will have a hard time stopping him if they get him the ball more. He’s open all the time. Frickin’ man child. Need to nickname him ‘Son of Sasquatch.’ LOL gary-us-bonds 1 Quote
