Anahuac is undisciplined.  The defensive line is too big and slow and the linebackers are non- existent. OF can run up the middle whenever they want.
IMO.

Seems that way, good for OF!

Bayou Bowl had me thinking otherwise.

Me too.  I think both of those teams are better than a lot of us thought, which is nice to see (rooting for both).

Give me THE ORANGEMEN for the district title! Absolutely no one will come close to challenging them the remainder of the games in district if they continue to play lights out like they did tonight and if some other team does, I’ll be extremely surprised!

Let’s take one game at a time.

but I’m excited about this offense.

Big statement tonight by the Bobcats. As I said in the other thread, they are getting better each week. I felt like they had a chance tonight but didn’t think they would dominate the game like that. Congrats Bobcats and Coach Breaux!

I didn't have a dog in the fight but it was so rewarding for me to see THE ORANGEMEN absolutely THROTTLE Anahuac. MEN amongst boys in my opinion. If you all remain focused and grow from this game, the skies the limit!

I can’t help but feel for Anahuac in this game. A lot of buzz and excitement around the team this year, and there is not a more talented team in the district.  But it looks like they still have some issues with discipline and consistency. They keep getting in their own way.

They have an amazing coaching staff and good athletes who are also great young men. I hope they find a way to get over whatever hill is blocking them from being the program they’re capable of being

Well I’d say the Bobcats looked a lot more talented tonight, not taking anything away from Anahuac, but physically this was not a competitive game. Gotta give the Bobcats their flowers lol absolutely no one gave them a chance in this game.

Oh there is no question OF has better football players. But athletically/talent wise Anahuac has the upper hand. At the skill positions especially. I didn’t see any one from OF that has the talent Coates, Barrier, Richardson, Trotter etc. from Anahuac have. And that’s not a knock on OFAM. OF has tough, disciplined, smart kids who play the game well and that’s why they will win this district

Mason Manning was the most talented kid on the field last night if there is a huge talent disparity I guess I just didn’t see it. Good luck to you guys the rest of the way.
