UIL to discuss removing Charter schools from traditional classification system

UIL to hear proposal that could remove charter schools from traditional classification system. A separate DEC meeting will be held soon to rule on alleged recruiting violations by charter school Oak Cliff Faith Family and its coaches.

This should have never happened.

Be curious to see if anything comes of this.

They should do that soon as possible.

UIL doesn’t take any action on charter schools, but DEC meeting for Faith Family is near. The District 13-5A DEC will rule on alleged recruiting violations by Faith Family and its coaches.

With huge number of transfers statewide, UIL gives state executive committee power to investigate schools with inordinate number of PAPFs. UIL can now impose penalties on DECs that don’t act in a manner consistent with the rules.

Thinking the 4 sisters who transferred from Southlake Carroll are probably regretting that decision now.

Right.

A total of 13 transfers the last two years for that girls program.

Think that's a red flag?

Correction, those 13 transfers to that girls program happened over this past spring/summer.

MAJOR red flag!!!!
