I think the majority of Newton's Oline is graduating but then again the majority of our defense is graduating also. We'll just see what happens when the time comes. Meanwhile congrats on the win and good luck the rest of the season. Hopefully we'll get a rematch at the regional  championship

It’s crazy how one guy carries the entire team…actually, it’s 3A ball so it’s not too out of the realm of possibility!

Newton better learn to pass the ball. They have a good backfield but sending them into a stacked box all night can't last.Hurt #3 and its over for Newton. Only one pass all night. Pass the dang ball... Back them out of the box..its simple. Butt !!!

I haven’t disappeared. This is just an expected outcome. History is the undefeated champion. Just for fun, next year we can call the rematch with Newton the Who’s Your Daddy Bowl. I would have to say, it is the Purple Eagles. Haha.

Right now calprep has Gr. saline as a 11 point favorite. That projection changes after each weeks game.

Yea, Grand Saline looks really good on paper but from the clips I've seen of them they're not a bad match up for us. We gotta make sure we finish district strong and take care of DF or Hooks first round first though

You will not play DF or Hooks first round , they are in district 10 and our district plays district 11 first round . You will probable play Troup, W Rusk or Arp the first round.

New Diana probably see Newton in 3rd .. they are unbeaten, but the 6 teams they played got combined record of 10-29 .. they haven’t faced anyone with a winning record . Example Newton opponents have combined record of 30-14 combined , if Woodville can get past Grand Saline in 3rd than they will get Newton in qrts

Yea, thanks for the heads up. I had district 10 and 11 mixed up. WR or Arp might be more favorable matches for us 1st round. Still looking at GS second round though
