I am a little surprised that Tatum came in ahead of SA Cole and Westwood, but other than that, it was about what I expected.

I am a big time Silsbee basketball fan. Still, I am surprised they are ranked #2 in 4A. I figured they would be in the top 20.  If they landed # 10 or #9 i would have been surprised, but #2?  I was not ready for that.  If the team can prove me wrong go ahead.

What a tough 5A district with 4 teams ranked in the top 20. Should be fun to see it play out.

Well dosen't this make Silsbee #1 D-2 because we want see Dallas Kimball they are #1 D-1 am I" right.?. It's split divisions

Not when it comes to the rankings. Divisions are split after district play.

There is a chance that Silsbee could go Division I. If Jasper and WO-S make playoffs with Silsbee, then Silsbee would go Div. I.

If Yates, Washington, Furr make playoffs with Wheatley, then Wheatley would go Div. II.

In fact, Wheatley is guaranteed to go Div. II. They have the smallest enrollment in their district.

As long as two of these teams make playoffs (Bridge City, LC-M, Lumberton, Vidor) then Silsbee will go Div. II

I" see ... Kind of confusing this first year. If that's the case then I" see Silsbee and Kimball playing each other. Because I" see Jasper and WO.S making the playoffs. But Vidor got a big guy I" hear that's pretty good and LC-M pulls a couple upsets. That would be really good.

Bridge City will have real good shot at making playoffs.

If Silsbee goes DII, they would face Wheatley in Regional Finals.

As for redemption, it would be Wheatley seeking that since they lost to Silsbee in Regional Semifinals last year.

Ow I" thought that was Furr last year. I thought the last time we played Wheatley was state final when Devon got hurt. But I" remember now beat furr than lost to BTW year before last..🤦🏻‍♂️🤷🏻‍♂️

That was Dallas Lincoln we lost to in state finals.

HOUSTON Wheatley is in the district with Yates, Washington and Furr.

Lot's of folks saw that 2nd round loss to Thrall as an upset. A Thrall team that ended up making the state tourney.
