Eh I wouldn’t count out Celina winning 4A D1 they are very impressive… but yes winner gets the playoff spot basically

After HJ only lost to BC by 2, they might be a lot more competitive than I gave them credit for.  they're 3-3 and 1-2 in district. If Lumberton and Vidor keep playing like they have there's no reason that the Hawks can't beat either of these teams.

Celina does look impressive.. itll be an interesting year for playoff football, some good teams floating around, but HJ could throw some sparks into this debate too. They either caught BC slipping or they have a good enough team to compete for the 4th spot

When you talk about teams like Vidor, Lumberton & HJ competing for a playoff spot, it tells you how weak the district really is this year.

No but the region was overall… I’m jkjk lol Every now and then 1 or two teams in the district stand out but as far as depth yes the district is pretty weak every year… Last year I feel Lumberton under achieved probably….

The district is on the weaker side most years but to say every year the district is weak is a little harsh.

Definitely underachieved last year in my opinion. Thought they were primed to go extremely deep

This year it definitely is probably the weakest in the state lol, its just not good.. 

Theres some good and bad years, but overall it is typically on the weaker side with 2/3 teams being decent most years
