SEC rules that Coach Bishop has been suspended from football activities for remainder of season including playoffs. He will also be on probation for next school year, The IT employee is banned from all UIL activities for one year. There will be no forfeitures. Palestine Westwood will remain 7-0, 2-0 in district play. They will play Teague tomorrow night as scheduled. -

Does it seem weird to anyone else that a non football coach, the Assistant Technoligy Director, went to the game with the head coach? I would want to know if they rode together to the game, or just met up by coincidence. It is certainly normal for coaches to attend games during open weeks or if an opponent is playing on a different date..Seems like when that happens though, the staff, or at least some of the assistant coaches, would ride with the head coach as a group. Just seems odd
