Vini vidi Posted October 19 Report Posted October 19 As we reach the final weeks of the regular season with playoff implications on the line who are you teams that have over/under performed. nederland has been a pleasant suprise tenaha has been surprisingly poor not knocking any coaches. Quote
Bigdog Posted October 19 Report Posted October 19 I will say Nederland is progressing faster than I thought for the first year of a new coaching staff. And they have some good players coming up as well. WOS had a rough start but seems to be getting on track at the right time. Silsbee is kind of back and forth. mat and Rez 2 Quote
navydawg31 Posted October 19 Report Posted October 19 Nederland new regime seems to have turn things around rather quickly as well as the under classmen teams. Bridge City is a big shock for me. Good for them, and hats off to that coaching staff and players. I thought with drop down for West Brook and United would be big for their programs after being in the toughest district in 6A and they would push for playoffs for 5A… but both are under performing. IMO. Reagan and WOSdrummer99 2 Quote

Bulldogpower Posted October 19 Report Posted October 19 Bridge City easy the surprise of the year. Also didn't Sabine Pass get a win or two this year? Quote

prepballfan Posted October 19 Report Posted October 19 I gotta throw Shelbyville in there as well Quote
NHSBulldogFan Posted October 20 Report Posted October 20 Bridge City's been mentioned so I'll throw in West Hardin 0-10 last year 5-2 so far this year Quote

I think most folks expected HF to be very good this year, So can't say they are over performing. Ranked very high in preseason polls and picked by all the experts to win district. They were my preseason pick to win district. Now I have WO-S winning district. tvc184 1 Quote
BBfan061 Posted October 21 Report Posted October 21 Huffman… I’d put West Orange Stark on here honestly… Orangefield and Bridge City Quote
3rdandGreen Posted October 21 Report Posted October 21 Over: Huffman, BC, WOS, Ned, OF (nice adjustment to the new O) As expected: HF, LCM, PNG, Silsbee, Deweyville Under: Vidor, Lumberton, Quote

HJ, Livingston, and LCM remains are their schedule. Quote

They'll get better down the road. Quote

A BUC 77 Posted October 22 Report Posted October 22 I expected Nederland to turn it around. Not quite this quick though. Bridge City was the overachiever for me. Quote
