BC should be the betting favorite here.

based on? When BC whooped Vidor after LCM  struggled with them, and beat up on L-town, I thought, "hmm... BC might be a lot better than LCM." But then BC squeaked by an HJ team that LCM beat by 36, and struggled with 0-7 Livingston.  and herein lies the issue with all the folks who've been proclaiming how great BC is: their marquis win is over a 3A school with two losses.  I can't look at these last two results and dismiss them as off weeks because they've literally not beaten a quality team all year except for one pretty good 3A squad.  Even if BC beats LCM, their marquis win becomes a win over a decent 4A school with a 4-3 record.  They had some impressive results early against probably the creampuffiest schedule I think I've ever seen, but the last two weeks they've struggled with losing programs. To me this game is truly a toss-up, but neither team is going to gain too much credibility for winning it, although I'm sure Cardinal fans will expect that. it'll all become irrelevant the first round of the playoffs.

I've watched Vidor play LCM, BC, and HH and after watching those 3 games... the LCM vs BC game is a toss up and the district championship is HH to lose.

Well, I promise you  this Blue_left, no matter how good or bad district is LCM has Won 5 straight with QB, #5 is playing great at TE and multiple positions helping LCM. Not sure how Friday will turn out but LCM is who they are for this season right now. Hopefully passing does improve.
I agree with some post earlier, in order for LCM to win, this  needs to be a tough, ugly ish game. Not Dirty!  Great job for BC  having a good year, it’s been a while. Go Bears

If BC O-line can give Bearden the time to look downfield it will be long night for LCM.   Then on defense #90 Dean and #10 breeden can definitely disrupt the offense by getting into the backfield quickly.

What about the LB? Did he get hurt?

If the bears have more points than penalties they should win. Unfortunately they're the most undisciplined team in the area.

I think BC rolls

Last game the opposing team had 8-9 personnel fouls and lcm only had 1(horsecollar which was a hustle play to prevent a touchdown) but nothing unsportsmanlike like. They still need to clean some things up but discipline has gotten much better since the beginning of the season

One of Peevey’s Triplets (Running Back) is battling a foot injury.
His QB is showing a lack of accuracy in the passing game recently.

We all know QB is the most important position on the field and I think BC has the best one in the district.

I look for Bearden and Sumrall to have a big night.

Give me BC by 20 points unless Peevey trots out #5 at QB and decides to finally put a headset on.

BRIDGE CITY is BACK folks!

    • Very close game until the 2nd half (mostly the 4th) when Orangefield came unraveled. Worse defensive effort I have seen out of the Bobcats in three years. This team has to get back on D and quit getting beat over the top when pressing. Offensively, non ball handlers continually turn it over and their shot selection is poor. Basic basketball, such as: defensive hustle, boxing out, and taking care of the basketball are the areas the Bobcats need to work on most. Whitmire will get them on point, but he shouldn't have to coach effort at the Varsity Level.
    • I don’t benefit from it, that’s not my area.  But the average cost to imprison someone is around $15k per year (on average in the US) and capital cases cost somewhere between $1.5-$3M with over half being overturned or reduced to life in prison anyway.  These numbers may be inflated since the last report I read but I’m sure it would be on both sides and higher on the DP side if anything. So what’s the point?  We feel better because we got to return the favor on someone (hopefully) who committed a heinous crime?  And I don’t know I can say we have “complicated” it. Which appeal should we cut out?  Our justice system has a pecking order and we have higher courts for a reason. When we are about to impose the ultimate judgment, should we cut steps that other cases have to save a buck?  Or do we not pay for an indigent person’s experts at the trial court level because it’s too expensive? Or do we just lock them up and throw away the key (unless we later find out they weren’t actually guilty, in which case we have a key and a life we haven’t unjustly ended) and save a ton of money?  Seems to me to be an easy and obvious solution but I’m more of a pragmatist.
    • 1 thing for certain. Coach Earned 3 more years to figure it out lol
    • @CIS_org National Security Senior Fellow @BensmanTodd tells Steve Bannon how the U.S. State Department and USAID have been sending American taxpayer funds to religious nonprofits to facilitate mass immigration to our southern border. Bensman says 248 nonprofits are participating in the United Nations’ 2024 agenda to distribute $1.6 billion in cash, transportation, food, and shelter to U.S.-bound immigrants across Mexico and Latin America.
