After watching that whole meeting and seeing his reactions and from what I have been told about the guy, he is mostly about himself.

I am not surprised he is pursuing legal action.

I read about 4 pages of 36 on a different site today and saw some comments that were pretty interesting.

I believe the game was moved due to lack of officials.

The problem wouldn't be moving the game, its the not informing the DEC about it. There seems to be some clashing views on if the other schools were aware or not so I'm not saying they did or not. Just that it would be a potential issue in the case.

Correct. But the real story is that the officiating chapter that used to do Westwood games refused to cover their games this year because of Bishop's behavior.

Westwood had to go look for another chapter.

Westwood has been covered by the same chapter that most the teams in their district use for the past 3-4 years.

Not saying the Bishop clan dont cause problems.......

The game was moved well before season. If the DEC approved their schedule at the beginning of the season then they knew about it.

Just got a chance to watch and it appears it was moved, but they never formally submitted to the DEC so it wasn't correctly reflected in the DEC schedule. Not anything nefarious just didn't follow procedure correctly.

Yea, I thought that was ticky tack.  I guess the insinuation was that it was done so they could go scout on Friday.  Other sports games get moved all the time for different reasons.  I thought that agreement was between the two schools.

Seems like the most likely reason.  Not sure how they could anticipate a ref shortage that far in advance

Because they pick the crews for the upcoming season around March or April.

So if you have 15 games that week and only have 13 crews available you know you have to move 2 games.

Its definitely not a huge issue, but it is policy. Its magnified because of the video taking of course, its makes it all seem a lot more deliberate regardless of intent. If they hadn't videoed then at most the probably  get a reprimand from the DEC for not following procedure and no one ever hears about it.
