Fewer voters will turn out for Trump this time, maybe fewer than 2016. The enthusiasm factor is virtually nonexistent in the Republican Party right now. Trump’s rallies are low energy and the stuff he talks about will thrill most of the 43% but it’s not going to pick any new votes up. His third tour with the same (even more) extreme act is bombing this time. That coupled with the fact that the DNC has probably a 10-1 advantage over the RNC in the number of campaign field offices nationally indicates that a well organized boots on the ground strategy is going to outperform Lara’s social media and boat parade strategy. I think it may be over by the time the polls close in the Central time zone. Plenty of them like him a lot, but people who don't like him are voting against Kamala. Ask me how I know. The question is what will drive the moderate swing vote: the fact that many feel one candidate is repugnant, or the fact that they’re all way worse off than they were four years ago, despite what the media is trying to tell us. 5GallonBucket

Let’s see, I’m much worse off than 4 years ago BUT I really don’t like the guy that did a much better job. This is a tough one. 🤔 Moderates, lol. So you think the government is releasing false data concerning jobs, wages, and inflation?

I make more money than I did 4 years ago and have a lot less left over at the end of each month. So the govt can say whatever they want about how great we’re all doing, but my bank account doesn’t lie. I’m thankful to be in a position where I’m not going hungry, and can afford some nice things, but I’m definitely less comfortable than I used to be. The only people who don’t notice or don’t care are the ones who make so much money it doesn’t effect them or who get everything given to them for free. 5GallonBucket and baddog

After much thought and consideration, I didn’t vote for anybody in the presidential race. I might have done differently if Texas were in play, but I just wanted to send a message-that MAGA has run its course and I (and likely other formerly dependable republicans) have had enough and won’t support this hateful nonsense any longer. The lines in Harris County were all long, I went at 7am last week and still had to wait 30 minutes - It's great to see.
