I haven’t got to watch this game yet, but wow! Glad to see BH pull out a close game on the road. They desperately needed this just to know they can! Glad BH gets a bye this week to heal. Great job Eagles

Thanks. I had picked BH in this one. I really like your offensive line. I haven't watched the game yet but I'm willing to bet they pushed Ball around.

I would like to see TXHSFB implement a second bye week. Either during the season or give everyone a week off before post season play. NFL and NCAA have 2 bye weeks during the year.

Teams can certianly take a second bye week if they choose...Duncanville has done it last 3 years and Stephenville has done it in the past as well..I cant see them adding a week because you'd either have to start a week earlier which pushes practice into July or push the season past Christmas which the UIL has no appetite for

It was! I don't know what happened but a fire was lit! The atmosphere was electric and the team and coaches were pumped. I have never seen the staff so amimated on the sidelines and the players fed off of it. Young BH was out athleted but rose to the challenge over and over, they refused to lose. Thats so great to see after lettting some close games slip away. Absecks Eagles soared Friday night. One game does not make a trend, but if we can maintain that same fire, effort and will to win, BH will be a dangerous opponent for anyone.

I’ve also noticed in last couple of weeks the offensive scheme and play calling is different. Who’s been calling plays? It’s been point on and couple new formations.

Finally got to watch the game. My observations 

1.) I hope Zeke is ok 

2.) Wells was shaky starting out, but was clutch when he was needed.

3.) Freaking Lucas and Morton were phenomenal.

4,) #9, 42 & 89 are going to be very good as is this whole Sophmore team.

5.) Glad we learned from last year to not go for the win with 2 point conversions.

6.) Barker QB for GB got what he deserved after mocking the BH crowd going up by 7 with 30 sec left in the game.😝

7.) There is nothing better than beating an undefeated team at their house during homecoming and watch them act like babies and walk off the field without shacking hands. 😂 I hope Lufkin beats them again.
