Pretty crappy to talk about a high school kid that’s been playing hurt since the Orangefield game.

I agree with you

The point is that it would be crappy if he was healthy.

So has the defense been hurt as well or the refs have been the deciding factors here lately?

Where’s the “All World” QB that so many people  have been ranting and raving about?

He was horse collar tackled against OF and suffered a pretty bad ankle injury that he also re-injured the next game. At times he can barely walk out there but is playing through it.

Oh and it’s plant foot for throwing. He is not able to play at the level he demands of himself. Lucky he didn’t injure it again against Hardin, which he didn’t play the whole game of.

Don’t take away from him, he is everything that everyone says, but it is looking like his Jr year will be plagued with injuries yet still running the #1 offense in the district.

Here’s the deal, no one wishes any player to get injured (especially kids), but let’s not kid ourselves into thinking that the entire team has played up to par. Coaching, special teams, offense and defense has been extremely awful and that’s putting it lightly. Call it what you want but the film doesn’t lie!

Would it? Maybe he was just referring to the fans that were on here hyping him up and not the kid himself? I don’t think it’s that deep but just me

Some might remember I said two years ago that hyping the kid to the sky as a Freshman, saying he would start for North Shore as a Freshman, etc was entirely wrong! It placed a very unfair burden on a 14 year old by delusional adults, and honestly that included some immeadiate family. This current situation is evidence of exactly what I said. BTW some of these same adults have apparently dissapeared from this site. Go figure.

Would it have been a bad idea for him to let it rest a couple weeks? Definitely want to be healthy for the playoffs.

I don’t think it would have been a bad ideal at all. The schedule didn’t give a bi-week in between games this year, that didn’t help either.
