For that matter Weiss has not beat a winning team either to date, plus they have played 3 teams who have not even won a game this year in San Marcos, Cedar Park and Lehman, 0-24. Now that's something to hang your hat on.

Just saying Anderson can put points up and could be tricky in Rd 1 for a team doesn't have a strong defense

They had 7 starters out after The Border Battle with Deer Park in Game 1, and didn’t get them all back (except for one OL) until last week against Crosby. Similar to Lancaster last year, they’re getting players back at the right time. Record is slightly deceiving. We’ll see how they fare against undefeated Angleton this week. After that, should have a better feel for their prospects.

That A&M Consolidated district appears pretty strong, but who knows. I think LP can hang with them if y’all have them RB’s healthy

OlDawg
La Porte will be the 1 seed and District Champion from 11-5A D1 barring a total collapse against Pasadena next week after their win against undefeated Angleton tonight.

If you lose to Pasadena it would be because the Freshman team played because the game didn't matter. OlDawg
AledoAlumni
Final playoff projection!! W1 El Paso El Dorado vs F2 Amarillo Tascosa R4 Arlington Heights vs T3 Richland W2 Abilene vs F1 El Paso Bel Air R3 Denton Ryan vs T4 Paschal W3 Aledo vs F4 Chisholm Trail R2 Amarillo vs T1 El Paso Americas W4 Saginaw vs F3 Azle R1 El Paso Parkland vs T2 Lubbock Monterey W5 Frisco Reedy vs F6 Dallas White R8 Cedar Park vs T7 Red Oak W6 West Mesquite vs F5 Frisco Wakeland R7 Midlothian vs T8 Leander Rouse W7 Highland Park vs F8 Lake Belton R6 Carrollton Newman Smith vs T5 McKinney North W8 Georgetown vs F7 Burleson Centennial R5 Frisco Lone Star vs T6 Carrollton Creekview W9 Lufkin vs F10 Houston Milby R12 College Station vs T11 Crosby W10 Houston Waltrip vs F9 Barbers Hill R11 Angleton vs T12 Pflugerville Weiss W11 La Porte vs F12 Austin Anderson R10 Galena Park vs T9 Port Arthur Memorial W12 A&M Consolidated vs F11 Friendswood R9 Galveston Ball vs T10 Houston Sterling W13 Comal Pieper vs F14 South San Antonio R16 McAllen Memorial vs T15 CC Veterans Memorial W14 SA Southwest vs F13 Seguin R15 PSJA North vs T16 McAllen W15 Flour Bluff vs F16 Mission R14 Northside Jay vs T13 New Braunfels W16 Edinburg Vela vs F15 Harlingen South R13 Smithson Valley vs T14 Southwest Legacy
AledoAlumni
A couple of unofficial notes: - Amarillo and Tascosa play each other. If Tascosa wins then Monterey moves into 2nd place, Tascosa 3rd and Amarillo 4th. - Reedy and Lone Star are playing for the district championship. Winner will avoid Highland Park until the 4th round. - Newman Smith and Creekview are playing for 2nd and 3rd place. Winner will get to host a playoff game!! - Midlothian and Highland Park are playing for a district championship!! - Waltrip and Sterling play each other week 11. If Waltrip wins- 1. Waltrip 2. Galena Park 3. Sterling. If Sterling wins 1. Galena Park 2. Sterling 3. Waltrip. Best guess. - At first glance it looks like D13 has 4 teams playing for the final playoff spot (3-3 Seguin, 2-4 Wagner, 2-4 Victoria East, 2-4 Boerne-Champion). After looking at the schedule Seguin plays the last place 0-6 MacArthur team. So most likely Seguin locks up the last playoff spot. - The playoffs start a week early for Harlingen South and Weslaco East!! They play each other for the final playoff spot. Love the win and get in games!! - Four teams playing for the final two spots (All are 3-3): Mission, McAllen, Rowe, Palmview. Mission plays the last play Juarez- Lincoln team so lets say they win and get in. Final spot will come down to the McAllen vs Rowe game. Winner of that game most likely gets in unless Palmview can upset McAllen Memorial. Then things get crazy.
CCRed
Can you really even call any District 9’s teams a first round match-up ? More like free-passes or a bye week. Those HISD schools are not good.
