Tough pick for me,before last week I would say Silsbee but I didn’t see the fight from the Tigers I have come to expect!

If Silsbee comes out banged up even more in this one and loses then they can be on the verge being out of the playoffs although as Shepherd has been healthy for most of the season.

this will be the last Bulldog Varsity game played on the original turf in the DAWG HOUSE. New is turf is scheduled to be put down after the season. will be kinda like HJ turf looks with dark&light strips alternating.

Looking and predicting the bracket… regardless of getting 3rd or 4th you probably win bi district… If your the 3 seed you will see the winner of Bellville and what’s looking like Lorena in round 2… 4th will get the winner of Sealy and Robinson. Sealy only is getting third in our district because their starting QB missed the Madisonville game… Sealy is solid

Actually I butchered those scenarios i believe… I’m about to do a bracket for the first round as things stand in the 4A D2 region 3 standings thread

That's a good thing. They wore out that original turf pretty fast from what I could tell.

/he average life is 8-10 years depending on the foot traffic. it's hard to believe we have already played 8 seasons in the new stadium don't you think?(well 7 full seasons and 1 game in 2016 because of delays finishing it) time be blowing by.

Still not sure who to take in this one. Leaning Jasper because of it being in Jasper.

If Silsbee can run the ball successfully and be better in the secondary, they have a real good shot of winning this game.

If Jasper can protect their QB and give him time to exploit the Tiger secondary, Jasper will win this one by 10 or more.

It goes a lot faster the older we get, brother. Every game against Silsbee reminds me of the first one I went to ('83 when we won 24-0 in Jasper). Gotta get this one...

trust me I really like  CC. that said as jasper fans the mere thought of (whether we are one and done or not) finishing behind Shepherd or Tarkington with no playoffs taste absolutely horrible.  lol. 

this will be the 81st time we have played the striped cats. (for me it is weird not playing the last game of regular season).

the days of the early 80s  what a blessing! Damn Willowridge and that future HOF er.
