4A D2 Region 3 District Standings

Wanted to share what the region currently looks like with only weeks left in the regular season so people can kinda get a look at possible playoff matchups. Also remember some districts have different rules when it comes to how tie breakers are determined 

District 9

T1st Hamshire Fannett 7-1 (3-0)

side note…. If you would’ve told me before the season started that China Spring would be 1-7 (0-3) in week 9 I would’ve said you were crazy

Yeah Idk what happened… But if they can beat Lorena this week then there will be essentially a 3 way tie for that 4th spot… if not I know Lorena has the head to head win vs Gatesville so I’m pretty sure they get the 4 spot

A lot of Tie breakers currently but most will be settled this week with Jasper vs Silsbee and Bellville vs Madisonville taking place. A big wrench will be thrown into the mix if China Spring beats Lorena… if that happens there will be a 3 way tie for the 4 seed in district 12 heading into the final week between China Spring, Gatesville, and Lorena

Next weeks big game between La Grange and Sealy is big for 3rd place..I rather deal with Waco Robinson than La Vega

Yeah big game for yall… from what I hear Sealy will have the QB back for that one… he isn’t playing this Friday I don’t believe but even without him they aren’t losing to Caldwell

I agree Caldwell not beating Sealy but we have Giddings Friday and it's a rivalry game for sure so u never know
