Wanted to share what the region currently looks like with only weeks left in the regular season so people can kinda get a look at possible playoff matchups. Also remember some districts have different rules when it comes to how tie breakers are determined 

District 9

T1st Hamshire Fannett 7-1 (3-0)

T1st West Orange Stark 7-1 (3-0)

T3rd Silsbee 5-3 (1-2)

T3rd Jasper 3-5 (1-2)

T3rd Shepherd 3-5 (1-2)

6th Tarkington 1-7 (0-3)

 

District 10

T1st Columbia 5-3 (3-1)

T1st Brookshire Royal 5-3 (3-1)

T1st Sweeny 4-4 (3-1)

T4th La Marque 5-4 (3-2)

T4th Wharton 4-4 (2-2)

6th Katy Harmony 1-8 (1-4)

7th Harmony School 1-7 (0-3)

 

District 11

T1st Bellville 5-3 (3-0)

T1st Madisonville 5-3 (3-0)

T3rd Sealy 5-3 (1-2)

T3rd La Grange 5-3 (1-2)

T3rd Giddings 2-6 (1-2)

6th Caldwell 2-6 (0-3)

 

District 12

1 Waco La Vega 5-3 (3-0)

T2nd Robinson 6-2 (2-1)

T2nd Waco Connaly 5-3 (2-1)

T4th Gatesville 4-4 (1-2)

T4th Lorena 2-6 (1-2)

6th China Spring 1-7 (0-3)

 

side note…. If you would’ve told me before the season started that China Spring would be 1-7 (0-3) in week 9 I would’ve said you were crazy

Yeah Idk what happened… But if they can beat Lorena this week then there will be essentially a 3 way tie for that 4th spot… if not I know Lorena has the head to head win vs Gatesville so I’m pretty sure they get the 4 spot

Doesn’t appear they will have anything for Lorena

Here is where the current bracket sits

W9 Hamshire Fannett/ West Orange Stark

F10 La Marque

 

R12 Robinson

T11 Sealy

A lot of Tie breakers currently but most will be settled this week with Jasper vs Silsbee and Bellville vs Madisonville taking place. A big wrench will be thrown into the mix if China Spring beats Lorena… if that happens there will be a 3 way tie for the 4 seed in district 12 heading into the final week between China Spring, Gatesville, and Lorena

Yeah big game for yall… from what I hear Sealy will have the QB back for that one… he isn’t playing this Friday I don’t believe but even without him they aren’t losing to Caldwell

I agree Caldwell not beating Sealy but we have Giddings Friday and it's a rivalry game for sure so u never know

      Defense did not play wet play well last night. It was the hiking the ball over the punters head and Huntsville score a touchdown was the dagger at that point we were within five points, we could’ve stopped them on defense and gotten the ball back and scored a touchdown and had lead it’s different story than defense will make some adjustments just like they did against PNG and sent all those Indians home early😂

      Can’t say enough about what Coach Breaux and his staff have done with this team. Started a little sluggish but that was expected. This team bought in to Breaux’s system and continue to get better each week. To win the DC in year 1 is impressive!  That’s something that has only been done one other time in the past 30 years in Orangefield. It’s not how you start, it’s how you finish!
