pure stupidity.  and y'all acting like it will have zero effect are in denial. when you have swing states being decided by thousands of votes, it only takes a tiny ripple to make a difference.  Not sure what is dumber; letting him perform or pretending like the results of his performance don't mean anything.

It will have ZERO effect, this silly joke isn't swaying folks one way or the other.

The pure stupidity is continuing to allow Harris to speak in public, now that's stupid.

this coming from the party who was willing to let Brittany Griner rot in a russian prison because she criticized America and knelt for the anthem.  Who harp on how un-American some politicians are as a main reason not to vote for them.  Who post topic after topic on this site about such things. Who will fight people for stepping on or burning the flag.  Patriotic Americans who don't think this is a big deal because it's not their country being insulted. A lot of Puerto Ricans love their island as much as we love the US. In an election where literally every vote counts, this will absolutely make some sort of difference.  how much so is yet to be seen.  If Kamala had hired a comedian to perform and they talked about how much America sucked, there would be a thread ten pages long on here criticizing the comedian, Kamala, and democrats in general. You guys would be saying "i told you so, she doesn't care about our country." Thats what puerto ricans are saying right now about Trump and republicans.

The folks that would allow a joke to cause them to ignore the border mess, inflation, announcing that we (democrats) plan to raise the corporate tax rate to 28% and the fact that Harris can't think of one thing she would change from what they are doing now aren't voting for Trump, those are folks that would be voting on pure emotion while completely ignoring policy, those aren't Trump voters.

It will make zero difference, it's just another gotcha moment to give the liberals hope that this is the one that will take him down.

Funny that I never see you comment about anything that Harris does that might jeopardize those margins, it's always the dumb things Trump does.

That bill is an example of why Obstetricians will begin leaving the profession. Threat of civil and criminal action for carrying out medically necessary procedures will crater women’s healthcare. It is already doing so in Texas. The same result could be achieved without threatening providers with civil action. Womens’ health has no place being adjudicated in civil court. Never any context given by the radical right.

In Pennsylvania’s case, when Trump won in 2016 it was by 14,000 votes. Those 250,000+ Puerto Rican voters will have a huge impact. Look for south Florida numbers to move as well.

No, the bill is an example of the democrats willingness to go along with infanticide, women's health has nothing to do with it.

No context needed, simply read the bill, and notice the democrat's reaction.

Little insulting that you would assume those voters would be more swayed by a joke than the actions of this administration, don't you think?

It wasn’t a joke to them. It was an insult. The “Trump team” is already saying it should have vetted the speeches. That is an admission of shoddy campaign management. It’s really going to show clearly next Tuesday.

Well, maybe not "Trump is Hitler",,,,,,but

Then Clinton added: “Hitler was duly elected. All of a sudden somebody with those tendencies, dictatorial, authoritarian tendencies, would be like ‘OK we’re gonna shut this down, we’re gonna throw these people in jail.’ And they didn’t usually telegraph that. Trump is telling us what he intends to do.”

I don’t get your point.  There are too many parallels to ignore it.

No one's turning on anyone, it's called debating a point you disagree on.

But nice try stirring the pot with your junior high tactic.

It’s a little optimistic that you assume someone representing a candidate for the presidency can crap on an entire culture and they’ll ignore that entirely

From the article:  Hispanic voters seem to be laughing off the faux media outrage over the Madison Square Garden rally comedian, showing up for Republicans in big numbers, even in places like traditionally blue Miami-Dade."

Trump has made this closer than anyone thought, and he's never changed from saying crazy stuff.  If he loses, which he might, this won't have anything to do with it.

And yes, it is insulting that you assume a group of folks would put a joke over what's best for the country.

If that's what it's come to, we're done anyway.

If basing a vote on a comedian then said person has an intellectual issue.

was it idiotic yes but let’s be adults here

i ll choose policy over a joke.

1. The joke wasn’t made at your expense. Personally I don’t care if someone jokes about me or white peoples, but plenty of people would be upset.

2. for a lot of Puerto Ricans in the US their identity is just about all they’ve got.  They’re not worried about tax rates or abortion, they’re just trying to get by.  This could be something that motivates what is largely an apathetic and disinterested voting base to make it out to the polls.

You think Trump knew this was gonna happen?  If not, then he's not culpable.  I think people see it for what it is --  a nothing burger.
