Huffman Vs LC-M

Recommended Posts

Falcons play well at home, healthy group, most likely will have 3-4 of the better athletes on the field Friday night, definitely the fastest kid on the field (QB), Defense is forcing turnovers at a record pace, school record 76 points scored last week, the trenches will be vital for both.....I take the Birds by 15.

While I don’t think Huffman will score 60-70 on a good LCM defense, I do believe they’ll score 40 plus. LCM will need to bring an offense to match that. Huffman allowed HJ to score 42 points but at what point did Huffman put their second string defense in, halftime?

I believe Huffman’s starting defense played into the 4th quarter.

They scored 2 TDs on the starting Defense. HJ returned a fumble for a TD and a kickoff return for a td. 2 TDs against the starters 2 against the backups. They've done that all year (put thr backups in).  They are not trying to shut people out all game but keeping kids fresh for the end of the year. The best 11 will be on the field when it matters.

This should be an interesting game for sure.

Same coach. Short version is you had 2 years of SR classes quitting on the program in 2022 and 2023. In 2022 at one point I looked on the field and there were SEVEN freshmen playing defense. That's rough lol. They are all now experienced JRs and they have 3 STUD SRs that will all play college ball. The JR group never lost a game from 5th grade all the way till 9th when most got pulled up to Varsity. I guess this ended up being the long version.

HH in a similar situation to BC.  incredible turnaround, but ultra creampuff schedule.  I THINK they're probably the best team in the district, but am curious to see what happens these next two weeks.  it's hard to judge them based off this schedule.  regardless of what happens it's been a great year for them.

If the weather doesn't play a factor in this game HH by 13, wet field and wet hands LCM by 2.

By wet hands, do you mean LCM with have the advantage in the rushing game ?

Have you seen the QB and #12 run the ball ?  They have been killing it.

In District Play: Huffman has averaged 57 points a game and given up 27 points a game. LCM has averaged scoring 32 points a game and only given up 13 points a game. Something has to give. I think its safe to say LCM's defense will be the best defense Huffman has seen this year, BUT is it enough to slow down the 4-5 headed monster they have on offense? QB, RB, WR, TE, and back up RB can score at any time....we will see, can't wait!

I agree. Not entirely sure but looking foward to finding out for sure.
