It's amazing how different the reaction is in the media about the remarks made at a Trump rally by a comedian about a group of folks and the actual sitting President's remarks about another group of folks.

Pure outrage about the comedian's remarks and no one cares about the President's remarks, especially the folks he was talking about, lol.

What you don't get now is that the office of the Presidency comes with a large dose of expected DECORUM. People on the streets say FJB, or more more likely "Lets Go Brandon", but thats just people on the streets. The President takes a solemn oath to serve ALL Americans. He represents us all (God help us). He, the PRESIDENT just cannot trash half of America! Regardless of the politics, this is a horrible, horrible thing for any President to do. Are you really gonna talk about decorum from a President while supporting the guy who effectively has no such decorum?

Just last night the former president (and would-be despot) was in Arizona talking with Tucker Carlson and fantasized about Liz Cheney in front of a firing squad… after calling her dumb, of course.

For me, it’s not a decorum issue. It’s not really an issue at all because Joe Biden is no longer the candidate. His candidacy was taken from him and gifted to his DEI hire. It’s just funny to see people who refer to others all day long as libtards, dims, dummycrats, etc… then cry like little girls with skinned knees about somebody else calling them garbage.

I think Trump wasn’t talking about having Cheney executed, but rather calling her a war hawk and saying that she needed to go hold a spot on the line somewhere since she is so much in favor of war(s). 
 

BUT, his phrasing and imagery was horrible (as always) and he did it in Arizona… a battleground state that I believe he lost in ‘20 largely due to his attacks on McCain. He just won’t stop shooting himself in the foot.

Even if he did go after supreme Trump hater Liz Cheney, that was against a political rival.  Politics.

No matter what Trump says or does, he is immeadialy and severely blamed. This is a perfect example TDS at work. Can you even see the difference that one guy is battling a political hater while the sitting President just trashed half of America? It's a huge difference. Its an attack on Americans Biden-Harris represents. As a staff member here, I would expect you would have the intellegence and ability to have discernment and see it with clarity.

I don't have TDS.  He's still a blowhard.  I'm a little concerned with your inability to have discernment and see with clarity all of the ridiculous things he says and does. I take no issue with people who vote for him.  I've voted for him 3 times now.  But I really struggle with the folks who act like he's a good person or he's being persecuted.  He's done and continues to do a lot of really bad stuff.  He says ridiculous things and treats people crap.  Decent president, terrible person. But as I was saying, folks like yourself will forever say "it's okay because..." or "it's not as bad as... because..."  I'm totally fine with people who like him because they feel like he did a good job as president, but I have trouble taking his uber supporters seriously.

I supported DeSantis from the beginning (look back if you want), and I have never worn or owned a red hat. With that said, there is NO circumstance a sitting President Biden should ever attack half of America. None. Ever. Full stop. No matter what anyone thinks of Trump. This attemped deflection/pivot to Trump fails. This is on the Biden Harris administration 100%.
