When they announced the Ned loss at the PNG game last night, the entire fan base cheered.  They also laughed because Ned lost to a Freshman QB that had his first ever start.  🤣🤣🤣

PNG couldn’t stop Hubert if their life depended on it. I can’t imagine the numbers the “freshman qb” would put up against the baby soft Port Neches D.

Praying on the downfall of some 18 year old kids is a different kind of weird. I can’t imagine you have many friends Mr. Lamar. I get it though, y'all couldn’t get the job done so you have to hope someone else can handle your business for you.

You do realize PnG already played against Huntsville and that exact kid played the entire game all over the field? Which means when Nederland played Huntsville, Hville was down a starter at Rb and a rotator at wr?  And Huntsville first qb is no slouch. PNG already played these guys, you don’t need to deal in fantasy.

Are you 12? You seem very hurt. Laughing at a team’s loss when that very team beat you on your home turf and ended your 22 game winning streak? It’s fine, I’m sure we’ll be laughing about that for quite some time.

No one cares about the win streak. Or, if they do, they shouldn’t. And it sure seems like PnG recovered from losing better than Nederland recovered from winning. Almost as if rankings and win streaks don’t matter.

You’re much more optimistic than me, but I like to hear it.

That’s the best thing about the new coach. He seems to be good at keeping things about the next play.

The Bulldogs defense gets a pass for last night thinking about it they had a grand total of less than one quarter of film on the Freshman QB AND this scheme it's completely different that the one PNG played a few weeks back and tailored to Adolphe's skills as a runner

I’m sure some of those kids are also 15,16, and 17 years old too.  Btw PNG is handling business quite well.  We both have the same number of losses in district currently.  Come Friday little Ned will be the 4th seed where they should be.

I know I can’t keep up with the gurus on here. Ned/PNG is over by over a week. Need to focus on the future. Here’s the way I see it. Start of season, focus on DC. If that’s not in the cards, make the playoffs. To me, seeding is only good for the first round, because on paper, the lesser team should be gone…..on paper. Here’s a scenario. Let’s say Nederland gets the top seed, our bi-district opponent will be #4 seed from another district. So we “dodged the dreaded #1 seed matchup. Woooooo. Sooner or later, should Nederland keep advancing, they are going to meet that #1 seed or a team of equal or higher caliber. So what difference does it really make….NONE. Simply tighten your chin straps and play football. Whatever happens, happens. Good luck to all teams in our district.

Lamar1996, could you please post something with at least a 4th grade mentality?

I am praying that you will be eating your words come Friday. My God, you are a piece of work.

At this juncture, I’m very PROUD of MidCounty. Honestly, I could care less about seeding and placement in the district. I’ll be  supporting both Nederland and PNG through the playoffs. These young men from BOTH teams play their hearts out for our enjoyment and excitement every Friday night. Prayers for both teams for injury free games for the rest of the season. I know it can be fun with the pokes and jabs in our comments. At the end of the day, regardless which team you support, MidCounty has done each and everyone of us PROUD! God Bless🙏

For what it’s worth, I think Ned matches up really well with Texas High, in the event they were to ever play.

Omg you must be a high school football genius.  Lol is that how the seeding works in the playoffs?  I’m smarter than a 5th grader btw.

    • Why play in Rusk?   15 miles farther you guys could have played in Jacksonville at the Tomato Bowl
    • The freshman RB that was called up early is as others have described. If he chooses a solid path, he could easily be LP’s first 5 star. That’s saying something with the RB’s that have come through La Porte. There have been Olympic gold medalists, NFL players, and others. But, no 5 stars I’m aware of… Let’s hope he listens to solid role models, and realizes the opportunity he’s been given to use the talent he’s been gifted. On top of that, Barnes, Sandolph, and Bright are still there. Not sure how coach keeps them all happy spreading the ball around.
    • I just heard we spent $500 Million in Russia to study cats.  Anyone actually gullible enough to think that money actually went to study cats?!   SMH!
