The front 4 and the 2 inside LB's are tough as nails! But once you get around them... #4 is a hoss! Quote

McCrary retired and Feller was let go, both are sorely missed. The offense is so vanilla and very predictable. It looks like middle school ball, go figure that’s where the OC came from. They better get it fixed and it better happen quick CAL2TEX 1 Quote

Rez Posted November 2 Report Posted November 2 Montgomery has a good offense. They depend a little too much on big plays. It’s either a home run or nothing for them. But, overall PNG did a good job last night. And the offense continues to move the ball despite our two best RBs nursing injuries from as far back as the Huntsville game. Not perfect, but who is? This is starting to feel like one of those seasons where we’re battle tested and struggling, but overall getting better. We’ve got a great head coach. It will come together. FrodoNDN 1 Quote
Eagle91 Posted November 2 Report Posted November 2 Anyone have an update on Chagtanier? We had a few short yardage situations where he would have extended drives. Hopefully he will be ready by the 1st round of the playoffs. He wears defenses down with his punishing running style. Quote

They would need to make another long run to State for him to have a chance to get back on the field. Quote

Man that's too bad for #15. I hear that he's a good kid. He's certainly a good rb and will be missed for however many remaining games PNG has. So now the 3rd string RB is the starter. Unless I'm mistaken the 2nd string RB was injured in the Klein game? Quote

Henry will be starting but he’s still not 100%. They’ll have to get J Jerry up to speed with the ones. He was running back in the spring game and broke some long runs. Moved him to OLB then back to RB. He’s been splitting carries with Naquin. He’s more of a true RB in my opinion with good vision and breakaway speed. 1970 1 Quote
