I wanna give some credit to Orangfield… I personally thought they were making a mistake in going away from the slot t… I said I didn’t think there would be much success because of that… especially in year 1….I was wrong and this coaching staff and players deserve serious props

I've seen both Hitchcock and Columbus multiple times this year. They are both on another level than any of the teams from our district.

I concur. I’ve been thoroughly impressed with THE ORANGEMEN but Columbus & Hitchcock can name their score (banged up or not). Being on another level is putting it mildly!

I appreciate this post.  Not too many will stand up and say that about their “fans”.   We all Love to see a well oiled team win.  Love to see when they win with class.   Some will even look down on a good team because of the rowdiness of the fans.  Keep it classy and good luck in the playoffs.

Orangefield has clinched district title and #1 seed.

EC has finished at 4-2. 

Anahuac and Coldspring are both 3-2. Anahuac plays Coldspring this week

Hardin is 2-3. Hardin plays Kirbyville

 

If Anahuac beats Coldspring, then Anahuac is #2 seed, EC #3 and Coldspring #4.

If Coldspring beats Anahuac and Hardin beats Kirbyville, then EC is #2 seed, Coldspring #3 and Hardin #4.

That freshman class just doesn’t believe in losing at anything.  EC gonna need to step up that ‘cruiting game against HF…

I heard the same thing from an OF parent Saturday morning at our hunting lease.  That's too bad. But good that it appears to be just a few bad ones; lots of good fans and parents there too.

I’ve been lucky enough to coach them since they were 5, it’s a great group of boys.
