I don't think he'll have as much time. Secondary needs to be ready for the quick strikes.

That's my line of thinking. I see the Mustangs bringing lots of pressure. Particularly if HF is not successful running the ball.

The HF QB is better this year with his scrambling abilities but a fast quick defense will give him problems.

The game I watched vs. LC-M, he was able to avoid pressure pretty well. But LC-M defense is not nearly as fast as WO-S.

Another way to defend the Horn offense is to keep them on the sidelines as much as possible.

That's been a bit of an issue with our quick scoring offense. Not many long sustained drives. When Khelvy gets thru he's gone.

Give me WO-S.

I picked HF in the preseason to win this district but changed my pick mid season to the Mustangs. I like how they match up with the Longhorns. I think WO-S has the speed to handle and disrupt the HF offense and the run game to control the ball against the Horn defense.

It will be a battle and one I will definitely be on the sidelines for. Not going to miss this one.

You also pick the Aggies 😬

Huh?

Not sure where you are going with that but, ok.

I am actually 9-1 betting on games that A&M has played this season, including tonight's game.

It didn't matter who was missing there run defense was really horrible.and there biggest problem was they were undisciplined.all the personal fouls for nothing.and the refs missed a few.so, regardless who was missing.been u disciplined isn't a excuse for them to use.

Their QB was making very poor throwing decisions also.. idk if their starter was out or what but the QB that played wasn’t good

Yeah I forgot the game was being played on grass

Yep. I'll be wearing some of my old tennis shoes for this one. Those sidelines at Longhorn Stadium hold water fairly well.

Of course, if it's raining during the game, my ass will be in the press box. lol

HF by 10. 45 to 35. Wet grass will definitely slow down the run game. When it becomes an air game, HF has a significant advantage. If the grass is dry... WOS wins by the same margin.

Is there a good chance these 2 teams could see each other in the 4th round?

Idk about good chance… but a decent chance nonetheless… whoever wins Friday definitely will have the easier path to round 4… loser not so much

So you think throwing a wet ball into a wet receiver’s hands gives HF an advantage? Usually a wet field is more conducive to the ground game.
