Hamshire hasn't gotten too much rain this week. The ditches are dry even and I'm showing 30% chance friday and 0% Thursday. If the weather holds what are the odds we see the outcome that silsbee and Jasper fans didn't see coming... a blowout...

I doubt this game is a blowout

A wet field definitely benefits WOS.  HF’s sophomore running back has improved since taking over for Augustine after his season ending injury, but WOS definitely has a major advantage on the ground.  For HF to win this one they’ve got to be sharp through the air, and wet conditions aren’t ideal.  Hopefully the rain holds off and we see how these teams do strength Vs. strength.

Is Hamshire Fannett the faster team of the two? If not I don’t see how the wet field would benefit WOS

overall, no. but their offense is through the air. they run great routes and have a fantastic quarterback, arguably the best in the area.  a wet field and a wet ball will benefit WOS if it becomes necessary to keep it on the ground more.

I doubt it too, just like I doubted the silsbee game and jasper game would be blowouts. I see it 42-35 HF

The silsbee game didn't shock me, but the Jasper game did after they arguably should've beaten WOS the week before.  42-0 after three quarters and Jasper couldn't have had more than a couple of first downs at that point, after scoring 5 touchdowns the week before on the chain gang.
