HF’s loss to Hitchcock looked real bad on paper due to two pick sixes in desperation mode turning that into a 70-50 game or whatever it was, and 3. Name recognition. A few weeks ago they were both 5-1 and deserving of state rankings but there was only room in the top-10 for one of them when HF smoked Silsbee. WOS is a traditional power and their loss didn’t look as bad (although I think healthy Hitchcock beats WOS, too, at least early in the season). This week i think 3 teams from 5-10 lost and they had room to stick HF there. I think both rankings are fair, and probably would be if they flipped them as well. VPfan2017 1 Quote
bullets13 Posted November 5 Report Posted November 5 I thought it was weird that Graham is so high at 8-1, but I looked at their schedule: their loss is to the #10 4A-D1 team, and of their 8 wins, 7 of them are shutouts. They beat undefeated Brock 38-0 this week. Dang impressive Quote

Dang impressive We hear about Graham every year going to Dallas, they look impressive in regular season and smoke it 2nd or 3rd round.Maybe they can make a run this year, that’s an impressive win against Brock for sure bullets13 1 Quote
