Against JD???

Americans are fickle.  They always believe that change is good.

I'm old enough to remember when the Ds moaned that they'd be able to win another nationwide election after GW got re-elected.  I can remember when the Rs thought they'd never win another presidency when Obama beat Romney.  A lot of people said that the Rs would never win again after Trump got beaten in 2020.

You'd best believe that the Republicans haven't found the magic key that leads to repeatedly electing R Presidents.  The presidency is like a woman... it's not yours, it's just your turn.

At some point, somebody is going to have to raise taxes back to "pre-trump giveaway" levels... kinda like the spot that HW Bush found himself in during the early 90s.  People will hate him for it, but it's inevitable.  And that person will lose their next election.

I agree but could you blame him if he did ……this man and his family has been through the wringer.

Could you have endured all he has and if had the ability and not want those to pay for what he and his family went thru and will continue to go thru.

I am not as stupid as he is so I would not have committed a crime

You really have no clue, and you are showing us all.  kamala needs to realize she lost.  Why hasn’t she done so yet?  Maybe like hillary, she’s not accepting the fact she just had her arse handed to her!

Really dude. You guys were saying the same thing 4 years ago. How can they call it if they haven't finished counting the votes. I said that for a reason. Did Trump ever concede? No, he didn't. I guess that you have amnesia

So if a Latino is mistakenly deported, oh well. I have no words for the black men who voted for her

Unlike you, those black men had the ability to see through her and cast their vote accordingly.  obama blew it when he chastised the black men for not voting for her strictly because she is black.  They are far smarter than you!!

Its incredible how much your content and tone has changed overnight. You almost sound reasonable and rational now.

Thing is, one lucid post does not undo the past years of you tossing verbal firebombs here. Your repetitively claimed the Dims were about to end the horrible, stupid, evil Trump once and for all. I remember you mocked us with "Trump 2028". Now, after the RED WAVE that just happened you are like "meh, yeah, voters are just fickle, D's win next time. no big deal".

Your past words are still readily accessible. We endured your trolling and verbal diarrhea for the past two+ years. Don't run from them now. HARRIS 2024!!!

I have often said the same. If blacks ever figure out the Dims are hurting them severely, and they thrive under Republicans, its game over for the Dims.

It went over your head. I am not surprised.

Some of the things you say leave me dumbfounded, but they don’t go over my head. You said in your post that you weren’t stupid, your post said otherwise.

TRUMP!!!!!      MAGA!!!!!!!

No.... part of the reason that the Ds lost is their persecution of Trump, IMO...  If the Rs start persecuting Ds, they'll lose whatever momentum that was gained yesterday.  That's not why we send people to Washington, and the voters took care of things yesterday.  There's no need for continuous hearings, investigations, impeachments, etc.... it's time to go to work, not settle scores.

Revenge, or making sure lawfare doesn't happen again?

    • naw, maaaaybe 7, definitely not 8 deep.  today im avoiding sitting by #10s parents, had to move away yesterday.   "put my son back in jub, put my son back in"  and then crying on every little touch of someone.    lets ball out today ktz!
    • Very close game until the 2nd half (mostly the 4th) when Orangefield came unraveled. Worse defensive effort I have seen out of the Bobcats in three years. This team has to get back on D and quit getting beat over the top when pressing. Offensively, non ball handlers continually turn it over and their shot selection is poor. Basic basketball, such as: defensive hustle, boxing out, and taking care of the basketball are the areas the Bobcats need to work on most. Whitmire will get them on point, but he shouldn't have to coach effort at the Varsity Level.  We'll be at McnNeese this Friday night at 6pm.
    • I don’t benefit from it, that’s not my area.  But the average cost to imprison someone is around $15k per year (on average in the US) and capital cases cost somewhere between $1.5-$3M with over half being overturned or reduced to life in prison anyway.  These numbers may be inflated since the last report I read but I’m sure it would be on both sides and higher on the DP side if anything. So what’s the point?  We feel better because we got to return the favor on someone (hopefully) who committed a heinous crime?  And I don’t know I can say we have “complicated” it. Which appeal should we cut out?  Our justice system has a pecking order and we have higher courts for a reason. When we are about to impose the ultimate judgment, should we cut steps that other cases have to save a buck?  Or do we not pay for an indigent person’s experts at the trial court level because it’s too expensive? Or do we just lock them up and throw away the key (unless we later find out they weren’t actually guilty, in which case we have a key and a life we haven’t unjustly ended) and save a ton of money?  Seems to me to be an obvious solution but I’m more of a pragmatist.
    • 1 thing for certain. Coach Earned 3 more years to figure it out lol
