Trump is losing the state by 800,000 + votes As in this morning with 96% in

2020 he lost by nearly 2,000,000
2016 he lost by 1,700,000 +

He is on track to win popular vote. I have not looked, but based on the trend, California should pick up some Trump votes.

This.... I was really surprised by this.  His vote totals aren't that far above his 2020 numbers, but the Dem voters disappeared.

I expected him to lose the popular handily.

It's going to be interesting to digest the data as it trickles in.  I think that the Dem's plan to prosecute him EVERYWHERE did more to garner sympathy than it hurt.  I also think that a lot of men (especially minority men) aren't willing to vote for a female president.   The shift from 10% of black men to 25% of black men voting Trump is astounding.  I think identity politics as a campaign strategy backfired for the Dems this time.

Lets face it... she wasn't a good candidate.  He wasn't, either, but she was worse.

But I'm definitely surprised by the results.

I just hope it doesn't turn into "Retribution 2025.... Make 'em pay!!!"

We don't need that.

I'm also curious if Trump will survive this term (healthwise) better than Biden.  Biden deteriorated big-time during his term.  I'm curious if Trump will fare any better.

The reason you're surprised by the results is that you keep insisting he wasn't a good candidate.

Apparently most of America disagrees with you, but you haven't been right about this election since day one.

And I get a kick out of you and others that are worried about him doing something he's never done..."Make 'em pay", "Go off the rails", lol lol lol

You blew it by taking no part in the victory, so pardon me if I don't take your lecture to heart.

Out of likes. Except for New England, NM, and Hawaii, the entire US is 90% RED. The blue strongholds in every state is in the big cities…..including Texas. Even though Trump won the popular vote, thank God for the visionaries that were our founding fathers…..knowing back then that an electoral college was needed. This map is showing house districts red/blue. Look at the concentrations.

    • lol, still making predictions.
    • Democrats have got to fix something pretty quick, because it played a big part of this election: there's this air of superiority coming from the left, and it stinks. EVERY SINGLE EDITORIAL I've read today focuses at least in part on the idea or assertion that everyone who voted for Trump is dumb, or was tricked, or is naive. Either that, or we're racists, or facists, or any other number of unflattering descriptors. Screw that. The left better figure out real quick that they've got to make some major changes in policy. Doing whatever they want, making the American people suffer through it, and then telling us we're in fact doing great, and bad people if we don't like it isn't going to cut it anymore.  People who don't want men in women's sports and locker rooms aren't bigots.  People who don't want an unchecked flow of illegal aliens coming across the border are not racists. And people who believe that the economy and inflation aren't getting better because they're poorer than they've ever been (even while making more money) are not stupid. A whole lot of Trump's baggage is real, yet more than half of the country chose him over what the left was offering.  If that doesn't send a message, I don't know what does. I've been very honest on here about how I feel about Trump.  I can't stand him, and yet I voted for him.  Millions, probably tens of millions of people who can't stand him voted for him. African Americans voted for him at a record rate.  Hispanics voted for him at a record rate. Explain that.  Democrats better realize quick that they AREN'T better than the rest of us. Half their voting base can't change a tire, yet the right is constantly portrayed as uneducated and dumb. The left better lose the superiority complex and regain some of it's sense. If they don't start making some reasonable legislative decisions that appeal to the vast majority of it's voting base, then there are going to be a lot more issues for them.
    • Was that Big Girl? Or Cardinal Backer? NO! Its UT!!!
    • I personally do want BC to win, being from OC, But if I was to honestly pick who I thought would win it would be Huffman from what I’ve seen the past two weeks. I hope I’m wrong but reasons like no grit and fortitude come to my mind when I think of BC this year.  Go Bears
