Huffman (26) @ Bridge City (18) - FINAL

I keep up with pine tree because that’s where both my college roommates graduated from.  They’ve been very good this year, but before last year they were bad a long time.  9-1 this year with some good wins, but have played a couple of mediocre teams close.  Maybe not a blowout, but I think they beat BC comfortably, although BC probably caught a break finishing 3rd and avoiding Chapel Hill.  LCM has a shot against Lindale, but while they’re 5-5, every team they’ve lost to would probably win this district.  Vidor is probably gonna get thumped.

What did we learn this season?!?!…. BC is avg. they beat the bad and ok teams. Lose to the good teams.

What we actually learned this season is that BC far exceeded expectations (Projected to finish 6th) and were in the running for the DC. Future looks bright for BC football. They lost to the district champion by 3 points. At the end of the day, it’s been a heck of a season and I expect them to compete their butts off against Pine Tree. Take your hating somewhere else.

*future looks about as bright as the weather in SETX today

**FYI… a loss by 3 pts or 30… it’s still an “L”

They finished 8-2. The two losses combined were 11 points. If BC is average. So is Huffman and so is LCM

LCM and Hh are above avg. cause BC is avg in a below avg district.

bc caught lightening in bottle. One good year in how many?!?! Again, I’ll wait

I've heard that statement before... bc will be fine. They'll take a huge loss with that many seniors but they have a great group of coaches over there.

By stating the actual numbers what are you trying to point out? Huffman Actually could've had 7 more points.

Im trying to point out that Right99JOH said that bc loses to the “good” teams. They lost to the outright district champ by 3. And despite committing 4 turnovers on offense and losing the ball on kickoff return, they were in the Huffman game till the end. I just don’t understand why yall hate so much when the margins are so small between the three.

If you wanna talk about "only losing by" points in one of the worst districts in the state......Should we tally up theoretical if the opt-out never happened? Would that help you understand better?
