Okay, you’ve made your point abundantly clear. All season long. Opted up this… opted up that… BC goes 8-2 but they aren’t allowed to celebrate, complain about anything, or be proud of anything because we opted up. Is that going to be the narrative all season next year too? I truly hope not.  

I wish a successful post season to all SETX teams. Especially those in the 409 and yes even LCM. Have a great weekend guys.

I truly wish the best for 409 teams and especially those from OC.  Until we meet each other, if that happens.

i think the BC hate comes from a weak preseason schedule, then all the hype and talk about BC being the Cinderella team in the District.  Only to lose to LCM and HH.  As well as all the repetitive talk about refs and Peevey.  It gets exhausting after a while.

i am probably the biggest ref critic out there, but we have to realize, that’s a tough job and that’s why not many do it.

We also need to remember that some of these players (kids) read these forums.  They are just kids playing the game they love.  The kids didn’t make the choice to avoid Silsbee, WOS, or Jasper….adults did.

manufactured hype.  this is the issue. almost every poster in the football forum was willing to say that BC is much improved this year. but all of the new fans creating accounts and old ones coming out of the woodwork who were completely clueless really drove the BC hate. demanding respect, talking trash, pretending that they didn't move up to try and win, and also pretending they would've done well if they'd stayed put, trying to insert them into the conversation of the best teams in the area, etc. etc. that gets old pretty quick when you're beating up on bad 3A schools and a weak 4A district.  thankfully losing to the only 2 decent teams they played all year shut all that down.
