Texarkana looks alot like PNG.  PNG was #1 when Ned won. Texarkana isn't as good as PNG. Nederland will win it!

The last time I checked Texarkana was 10-0 and rated #4 in the state. I like your optimism, however you don’t realize how bad Nederland’s defense is and also all the personal foul penalties due to a few undisciplined players

Curious to see if Huntsville can get past the first round and play South Oak Cliff. I think Huntsville can win it. South Oak Cliff hasn't seen Huntsville they've seen us

THigh and Marshall haven't been tested in over a month(playing each other). 

I think only way Ned and Montgomery win, is if they can get an early lead and play keep away. THigh scores in bunches and is more likely to come back quickly. Compared to Marshalls Wing T. You get up by 3 scores on Marshall and it could be over before Marshall knows what hits them.

Hallsville isn't very good but Whitehouse is scrappy. I can see Whitehouse keeping it close until 3rd or 4th.

Texas High has some nice wins they beat the best private school in the state and the best team in Arkansas who would be a good 6A team in TX (2800 enrollment), they also drilled a district champion Midlothian Heritage...they've got some big time skill talent

I often wondered if Texarkana was even that good, you're talking about a team who barely beat an Arkansas program. Looking over their district it's not very strong. They may be really good, but I don't see all their credentials behind a high ranked team. Although the rankings don't mean much to me., somehow I find it hard to believe that Alamo Heights is in the top three. SA football isn't strong at all

That Arkansas team would be competitive in 6A in Texas...I'm not sold on the Texas High defense but their offense is as good as advertised

Ehhh. They got smoked by Bentonville, who Aledo absolutely slapped around the field a couple years ago. 6A is a stretch on that imo.

Aledo played Bentonville in 2018...not quite a relevant reference....Bentonville is a solid team in 2024 along with Fayetteville...they'd be good 6A teams in Texas

THighs offense is what makes them tick. They can easily just out score most teams.  Very balanced. Cant key on any one thing. The defense is fast but can be scored on by good physical offenses.

Possible Huntsville vs SOC, Huntsville can win that one. That speed is hard to stop, they gonna surprise people. Best team we face imo. They got speed on every side.

I will say Huntsville's defense against SOCs o will be a great game to watch.

Can't compare 2024 to 2018 plus that aledo team was really good

Fayetteville is good but they are not the best team in Arkansas, that would be Bryant.

What's going to be interesting is that Lovejoy, coached by Todd Dodge, is on a possible collision course with either Nederland or PNG.  Knowing that Dodge helped both schools in their coaching search, this could get really interesting!  Personally -- I'd like to see it happen!
