Barbers Hill vs Houston Sterling

The Barbers Hill Eagles will take on the Houston Sterling Raiders in a 5A Division 1 Region III  Bi-District Showdown.

Good matchup for the Eagles, get to beat up on a hisd team and hopefully get everyone back healthy.

I know nothing about H. Sterling except "that district is weak". Based on that "BH should roll". Super easy travel, too. 

Great job of perservering through all the injuries this year, Eagles, Abseck, and staff! This team is developing grit!

This shouldn't be a good game. The only teams they have played were Texas City and Brenham which beat them 47-6 & 42-7 respectively  The other loss was to Galena Park by 2. This game should set up a round 2 game against La Porte which will be a struggle with all of our injuries and hearing that La Porte is getting healthy from injuries they have had in the season.  BH needs to use this game to get more receivers involved so that defenses cannot just key on Morton.  Sterling runs the ball 98% of the time out of a typical offense, so we should just stack the box and shoot the gaps it will be hard for Sterling to score IMO. Heck we may get to see who QB 3 is for BH this game  We just need a win with no injuries then get ready for La Porte.

This should be the biggest blowout bi-district sweep.  Everybody wins by 30+.

What a boring week for our district, I feel for these HISD schools though. Looking forward to week 2 though 😎

La Porte is better than at any other time they've been in our district(s). This particular team is pretty dang good. They mashed Crosby, and had a blowout going versus Angleton but let Angleton back in the game. There only weakness is that secondary and Angleton took advantage of that.
