We need to keep passing the football more.  Not becoming so focused on the run.  We will have to be able to pass well down the line in the playoffs. Defense has to double down.  We do not need to get in a situation where we are having trouble stopping this Hallsville team from scoring.  Score, score & score some more needs to be our motto going into the playoffs. 🏈

We need to work on short passes out of our normal run formation to open up the run. These throws down the sideline are just a coin flip, and do nothing to make the LBs guess.

PNG by 4 TD's....Hallsville is not a very good football team.  Playoffs are where PNG's coaching staff excels.  They seem to always have the boys ready.  Looking forward to another long playoff run no matter who the next opponent is.

Especially with Thurston. Tall, can run and catch. Utilize him more. Also, 44

+1,000  #88 has proven all year long, when given the opportunties, that he can catch and run with the ball after the catch.  Early on in the season, the OC gave him some throws.  And, then, the OC forgot about him for six or seven games.  He is tall and mobile.  Given him some throws.  I'd spread him out and see if the LBs move out with him.  Right now, teams are stacking eight and nine defenders in the box.  Our OC does nothing to change the numbers game.

Agree short passes would benefit us greatly.  Throw from those run formations & force the defense to figure out what we will do next!

I like that idea. loosen that middle

PNG will really be missing #15.  I can see #4 going both ways a little.  Also a new line up on the kickoff team. Possibly a few new looks on offense, but not too much if the game quickly gets out of hand for Hallsville.  Hallsville has a long drive down here, but the cool temps will help them.  A good Port Neches foggy night with heat and humidity, along with a slight petroleum odor in the air,  would favor PNG better.

Yeah, but that would be H2S.  I was thinking more along the lines of butadiene.  Anyway, it's looking like good cool weather for Friday night.  As long as we control their QB and #6, then we'll be ok.  The OL will hopefully settle down and start clicking early.

I agree 💯. PNG is even lucky to have a playoff game. Yes I bleed purple and white 💜 but I'm also REAL!! We have been extremely lucky. We have a championship team but we don't have certain coaching areas that are championship 🤔

lol you must have a kid on the team.  Back to back state appearances and having doubts about our coaches.  Smh

Agreed!! PNG is by far the worst 9-1 team in the state!! They are lucky to be 37-5 over the last 3 years
