bullets13
La Marque ar losers of 3 straight, and 4th place out of a very bad district. This feels like an incoming blowout for the horns.

BBfan061
HF can name their score… But in the second round they will have a much tougher game with the winner of Robinson/Sealy
Separation Scientist
I dunno why everyone wants to jump ahead past the current week. HF and all the others needs to go out and have fun and Kick Asp this week and fight next week next week. Why throw cold water on a party? When playing a inferior opponent I believe it’s normal to look ahead to the next round… at least to have something to talk about… No one wants to discuss how Hamshire Fannett is gonna beat the hell outta La Marque… so.. for conversation sake yeah people will look ahead to the following week lol I can assure you the people that matter ( HF coaches and players ) are focused on this week and they will have fun and kick some asp

Get the talk pointed more towards your area teams.lol Separation Scientist

LM is HF's opponent this week. This should be the topic, see the title. This goes beyond just HF-LM. Many threads have "well they win this week but won't get past so-and-so in rd. 2 or rd. 3. No need for future cold water.
BBfan061
Yeah and without yall nitpicking me about this there would be 2 post on this thread about this game…. Separation Scientist
Not any rules, just simply look at the thread title. Again, I am not pointing specifically at you. This goes on in many threads. "Yeah they will win the first round but they are toast in the 2nd!" What good does that do for anyone? I enjoy conversations that aggravate "forum judiciary". Referencing opponents in the next round is a perfectly relevant addition to a playoff thread, particularly when the primary/current game is a "laugher". I would ask the question: "What good does it do for anyone to discuss a non-competitive matchup"? And follow it up with: "Why worry about a comment made by another poster when all you have to do is disregard the comment and not engage"? So its not the teams, or their future playoff prospects. You just want to "aggravate" someone. Another pot stirrer. Got it.

AggiesAreWe
Back on topic. I am curious as to how La Marque will defend HF. From film I have seen they run the 3-3-5. They got some speed so I am curious if they will bring heat and play man or sit in a zone? The old La Marque (yes I know those days are long gone) would come with pressure off the edges and rely on man coverage, particularly against teams that don't run the ball very well. La Marque still has some good athletes… Being in their district the previous 4 years before this one they just to seem to never play complete games.. undisciplined penalties… things of that nature… I imagine if they play their best they could give some teams some problems… with that said HF should win by 4-5 TDs…maybe more

My suspicion is that they may be equal in talent at skill positions but will not execute like HF. I imagine HF will have a great advantage at the LOS.
