I truly don’t have a preference either way..I always kinda back in the day, thought the THSCA and the UIL would, if they went to a single site for the state championships, they would tie them in with the rotation of coaching school. Houston, San Antonio, and Fort Worth. The single site is good cause you can see all the games at once, but the travel to centrally located sites was cool too. Once, with two co workers, on the same day we saw a morning state championship in the dome, an afternoon game at Kyle field, and a night game in Waco… was a lot younger in those days … lol -

The only match-ups that I'm banking this win on is Teague vs. Diboll, Shepherd vs. Diboll and us vs. Shepherd. Shepherd beat Diboll by a few TDs where we beat Shepherd by 2. In the match-up with Teague, Diboll was still in the game with them late before the Lions pulled away where in the Shepherd game Diboll was getting handed to from start to finish and was nowhere close. In our game against Shepherd we were beating them pretty good before the 4th quarter happened and we barely made it out of there with a win. So for those reasons alone is why I have Coldspring winning this one. -

Agree, and I'll be more clear about who specifically my posts are aimed at, I'll admit I sometimes sort of broadcast rant. I'll also agree that you can't legislate morality, never works. Government shouldn't pick winners and losers, even in Religion, and this comes from a guy that thinks a Bible anywhere would be a good thing. -
Funny how a SC mandate taking prayer out of schools didn’t make people hate Kennedy. Had he not been assassinated, I believe he would have been re-elected. To date, I feel that was the beginning of decay to the moral fabric of this great country. Personally, I don’t think the Bible should be “forced” on anyone. It’s not how Christians operate. We dang sure don’t want morality to enter into people’s lives (sarcasm).I think Bible classes as an elective would do well. We had Bible class when I was in HS and prayer had been mandated out of school 6 years prior. Is American history taught in schools anymore? The Bible is surely a part of history and certainly a part of American history. These are my opinions and I am sure they will be challenged, not concurred

more of an upset than the Silsbee over BR that Aggie is calling me out on. I admittedly don't know enough about either roster to get deep into talking about rosters and matchups, but Teague certainly has a better resume.
