A lot of speculation that this was an elite chess move by Trump to get Gaetz to resign since he basically doesn’t get along with anyone in Congress and he knew he had zero chance in getting him and his joker-esque eyebrows confirmed anyway.  If so, well played Mr. President, well played.  Makes a lot more sense from that perspective.

The new AG Bondi is a bulldog too. Gaetz can be inserted with almost as much power as the AG, without Senate confirmation. He could become special counsel, i.e. Jack Smith or Robert Mueller. Remember those two who came after Trump, without facts, I might add. Oh, this could get interesting real quick. I can see the deep state squirming in their seats.
