This is the sort of stuff that can't happen if the Republicans are going to keep this mandate

Coincidence?

The school district tried their best to keep God in school by allowing school prayer on campus. They are not the ones who rejected God at school, Supreme Court did that.

If it was not a coincidence and there was divine intervention, was SFISD punished by God for fighting it all the way to the Supreme Court to keep Him on campus?

Your logic seems flawed.

Whether it was the Supreme Court that was responsible, as you said, a couple of Christians, the president that appointed liberal justices, etc. The result/rejection was the same.

Roe vs Wade is a good example of a Supreme Court action. When the law of the land supports killing unborn babies, America has to face the consequences.

You are stretching that rubber band beyond the breaking point.

Now you have God possibly issuing punishment based on Supreme Court picks by presidents.

Apparently free will doesn’t exit.

When I am before Judgment, I have enough of my own transgressions to answer for. I don’t think that I will have to answer for other people nor they for me.

Dang it. i’m allowing myself to get drug into a long-winded debate. Something I’m not good at but you are. I mean that as a compliment. But here goes anyway.

I totally agree with your statement. There will come a day when we will all have to be accountable for our own actions. Thank God for his grace but that’s not what I’m talking about. However, our nation can collectively prosper or take a down hill slide, according to our acceptance or rejection of Him and his word. The Bible is his rule. The constitution is also our rule, but the interpretations over the years have been warped to fit certain political agendas. We can’t expect god’s favor and protection while rejecting him. Abortion, no prayer in schools, no Bible in schools, no 10 Commandments in public buildings, etc. I believe in freedom of religion. However, Christianity is becoming a bigger target and anti-Semitism is on the rise while honoring other religions is growing. Anyone that can’t see the moral decay in our country is not looking through the right lens.

2 Chronicles 7:14 states, “If my people, who are called by my name, will humblethemselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land.”

    • He definitely had a great offseason. He’s gonna be a problem for a lot of teams. Not to put on emphasis on this singular win, just a general observation for what they’ve done since the loss to Hitchcock last season.  Lowe 25 points, 7 rebounds, 5 assists, 2 blocks
    • Once again, this district is swept out in 1st round, 0-4. Is there no end to this?  Bright spot was Hardin making playoffs in forever. OF and new coach, good year. Anahuac, huge disappointment.  10 continues to be likely the weakest 3A-l district in the State.
