Well.. is that because Ned won MCM? Or is that because you don't think PNG can go back2back? I'm intrigued either way and I think everyone would like to know what your reasoning is.  Care to share?

PN-G is missing both Cade McCrary and Charlie Feller those guys were both outstanding coaches and they got replaced by Faircloth light and a guy who i don't think is as good as feller was just turn on the tape you'll see what I mean

Nederland’s 1st 8 games minus Silsbee were pretty good. The last 3 have been really bad on defense. The offense was doing well until tonight and Nederland’s OL got manhandled

7-4 was a good 1st season for Coach Rich, now we will see if he can build the program back up. The JV and freshman teams were good, so we will see. Thomas and Sunday will be missed

Must have a great off season and find players that can play defense

Much improved team. Had a chance for the DC and had every chance to avoid pulling Tom Brady and his D1 receivers but it happened. From what I understand the JV and freshman had a solid year. Let's get that 2012 team back (who I think would have made it to state in the new alignment instead of pulling the next years 6A team) anyway, a complete turnaround for the dogs. Thomas will be missed, he never had a chance to really show off and he made a heck of a noise in 8-5A

No doubt. McCrary was a master of evaluating each player's strengths & weaknesses and then game planned around them. Fellers was a master of running the game plan, which he is still doing this year at Duncanville. Whoever replaced them are JV caliber play callers at best.

Texas is definitely speedy, and loaded with some good athletes, but still, Nederland appeared fatigued and just not with it last night. Still not over their MCM win I'm thinking, and for sure not over the fall in District, much less the long road trip.

I was saying right after the MCM game that I thought that Ned did PNG a favor.  But I don't think their brief stint in the top 10 did them any favors.  Anyway, it was a good season, and good to see them back in the playoffs.
