rvbulldogs Posted November 16 Report Posted November 16 Their non D-1 players are making big plays. We are making them look unbeatable. PNG can play with these guys. NDNWarrior and outanup 1 1

Gotta play ball control against a really talented team. PNG does do that, but we will see in a couple of weeks maybe. NDNWarrior 1
NDN1982 Posted November 16 Report Posted November 16 Noway in hell PN-G could even stay on the field with them. PN-G is not good at ALL have had SUPERIOR luck this year and that's it. NHSBulldogFan, Aggie521 and Rob Corpus 2 1

Or is that because you don't think PNG can go back2back? I'm intrigued either way and I think everyone would like to know what your reasoning is. Care to share?
NDNWarrior Posted November 16 Report Posted November 16 GREAT season Bulldogs! Nothing to hang your head about. Keep on keeping on! You’ll be back stronger than ever next year! Keep the faith!

NDN1982 Posted November 16 Report Posted November 16 (edited) Has nothing to do with being beat by Nederland......PN-G absolutely sucks this year and have been EXTREMELY LUCKY!! Edited November 16 by WOSdrummer99 Aggie521 and Rob Corpus 1 1

spidersal Posted November 16 Report Posted November 16 Nederland’s 1st 8 games minus Silsbee were pretty good. The last 3 have been really bad on defense. The offense was doing well until tonight and Nederland’s OL got manhandled 7-4 was a good 1st season for Coach Rich, now we will see if he can build the program back up. The JV and freshman teams were good, so we will see. Thomas and Sunday will be missed Must have a great off season and find players that can play defense
rolltides Posted November 16 Report Posted November 16 That is going to be a long drive home tonight for the Nederland Bulldogs tonight.
Bulldogpower Posted November 16 Report Posted November 16 Much improved team. Had a chance for the DC and had every chance to avoid pulling Tom Brady and his D1 receivers but it happened. From what I understand the JV and freshman had a solid year. Let's get that 2012 team back (who I think would have made it to state in the new alignment instead of pulling the next years 6A team) anyway, a complete turnaround for the dogs. Thomas will be missed, he never had a chance to really show off and he made a heck of a noise in 8-5A Razor, outanup and NHSBulldogs2 2 1

McCrary was a master of evaluating each player's strengths & weaknesses and then game planned around them. Fellers was a master of running the game plan, which he is still doing this year at Duncanville. Whoever replaced them are JV caliber play callers at best. NHSBulldogFan and bulldawg64 2

1970 Posted November 16 Report Posted November 16 Texas is definitely speedy, and loaded with some good athletes, but still, Nederland appeared fatigued and just not with it last night. Still not over their MCM win I'm thinking, and for sure not over the fall in District, much less the long road trip. I was saying right after the MCM game that I thought that Ned did PNG a favor. But I don't think their brief stint in the top 10 did them any favors. Anyway, it was a good season, and good to see them back in the playoffs. NDNWarrior 1
