DLivingston Posted November 16 Report Posted November 16 That should do it. BC fought hard, Pine Tree is a damn good team. Turnover on downs. Pine Tree ball 2:15 left. BC no timeouts left. Quote
goldenstick Posted November 16 Report Posted November 16 The Cardinals had me feeling they might could have pulled the upset towards the end of the 4th quarter. Pine Tree had to work for that W Quote

Guitar Man Posted November 16 Report Posted November 16 Nothing to be upset with after this loss. Cards were in it till the end and the kids showed a lot of guts. They truly left it all on the field. Future is bright for this team. Quote
Boneyfinger Posted November 16 Report Posted November 16 These Young Cardinals made all of us Old Cardinals very proud this year. We are looking forward to a bright future! Quote

hardcore Posted November 16 Report Posted November 16 I’m proud of the way the Cardinals represented the 409 area. The Pirates thought it was going to be an easy win. Thank you for a great season. Quote

BC put up more points on #7 Pine Tree than all but 1 team this season. That’s more than Kilgore, Gilmer, Lindale, Henderson, and Chapel Hill scored. That’s impressive company and something BC can hang their hat on looking forward to next year. I expect BC to get a lot better this offseason with some much needed continuity with the new coordinators and head coach. BC and Huffman represented the district and SETX well. The other two got skull drug. One was justifiable considering they had Kilgore on the road. Right99JOH, rhino1877 and goldenstick 2 1 Quote

BC gets their participation trophy just like the rest of them. Noone gets style points for keeping games close. Quote

Which is an exciting one. The loss is acknowledged, but BC far exceeded expectations. Even against the #7 team in 4A D1. By all accounts, including yours, it shouldn’t have even been a game. Quote

Or did they use the backup? I was told they are 10 times better on offense when he plays Quote
