Winning one of the weakest districts in the state doesn't mean a thing in the overall scheme of things. At least Bridge City put up a fight

Those two districts sometimes seem like the Southland conference being paired with the SEC in the first round of a collegiate playoff. But then BC and Huffman were both super competitive.  Still not surprised by the sweep though.  There’s a reason people are opting up in the 4A division and has much more to do with the actual districts, more so than bi-district matchups.

Well, Huffman put up a good fight at home against their #3, and BC went to their #2’s house and made a game out of it.

Their #4 drove down, kicked the door down, bent LiCk’eM over and EMBARRASSED them in their own living room.

I expected nothing more from the Bears.

Cardinal yacker, all four teams lost score doesn’t matter. LCM district champs 1st round loss. BC 3rd place first round loss. No one is embarrassed , got beat no excuses. BC had an ok season, LCM  had a DC season. Good luck next year.

PT sitting their starting qb and CH dealing with major injuries played a big role, but they both competed well.

True, but even the PT home announcers were astonished how BC was moving the ball and scoring on their prized defense. They were surprised to given how good their defense had been throughout district against stronger teams. Smalley had them figured out and BC played offense up to their potential. It was a good Texas HS playoff game

Huffman got some studs too (11,12,0) No surprise they were competitive in their game as well
