Believe Sealy gets one of their better receivers back this week. He was limited to holding on XP this week.  Key will be whether you can get to Sealy QB.

Robinson abandoned the run game completely and had some very head scratching coaching decisions.  Combine that with not being able to deep snap without it going over the punter’s head and they had no chance.

Sealy QB is really good… The only reason they are a 3 seed is because he was hurt and missed the Madisonville game… Could be a shootout

Ahh. I thought it was weird that Sealy the 3 seed beats the other 2 seed by 29, and Madisonville the 2 seed loses to the other 3 seed by 17.    Quite backwards and by large margins.

Honestly I didn’t see Madisonville losing to  Gatesville … that was kinda a surprise…

Robinson was picked last in district, so I guess they did ok.  Sealy may be better than I thought.   I’ll take the Horns by 10.

Their offense is legit…Defense is average…

This reminds me of the early to mid 90s when we always met up with them…  Facing that running back from Sealy

1994-1997 they were good.  Not sure of the RB.  Wasn’t Dickerson.

Was it Fred Smith?

Can’t remember the QB name on those teams but he was a stud too… think he played the entire playoffs his SR year with a torn ACL wearing a leg brace

My nephew has 3 rings from that 94-97 run. Fred was the man in 94, Chris Tate in 95 (3A POY), Jaron Dabney in 96 (BYU) and Kelvin Tarver in 97. Qb’s and passing game were really good during that span, but the defense was the best I’ve ever seen at the high school level. Coaching was insanely good.

Was Robbie Bozeman the QB from some of that time?

Yes. Robbie was 97, Jeff Gaston 96 and Brad Burtchell 94 and 95. They were 63-1 over the 4 years. Only loss was in 96 to LaGrange. Lawrence Dobbins (JK’s dad) was RB for LaGrange that year and he could fly.
